In 1978, SFR Industries Inc. began manufacturing custom plastic profile extrusions. As a true example of a garage industry, we got our start with a single plastic extruder and only two employees. Today, we have over 30 extrusion lines and more than 60 employees. In culmination, SFR Industries, Inc. has over 135 years of experience within the plastic profile extrusion industry. Our senior personnel has extensive knowledge in the field ranging from machine design to product development.
Robert W. Stumm - President
Robert's background includes extensive knowledge in the areas of product development, technical service, and sales. With more than 40 years in the plastics and extrusion industry, Robert manages all of the production aspects of SFR Industries, Inc.
Catherine M. Murphy - Vice President
After several years in the extrusion process sales industry, Catherine joined Robert as SFR began operation in 1978. Since then, she has developed a unique grasp of the plastic profile extrusion process and design phase. With over 35 years of experience in the plastic extrusion industry, she currently directs the engineering, product development, and quality aspects of SFR Industries.
C. Dwight Pearson - Director of Marketing & Sales
Before joining SFR Industries, Dwight spent 23 years with a major plastic resin manufacturer specializing in product development followed by four years in the sheet and thermoforming plastic industries. He has been with SFR Industries since 1994 and currently manages the sales and customer service teams.
James Sullivan - Tooling Manager
After a four-year apprenticeship as a tool room machinist, James spent the next several years building molds for metal stamping / forming, plastic injection molding and profile extruding. He then joined SFR Industries in 2004 where he specializes in complicated designs. Currently, he leads the tooling development team.
