We are a leading manufacturer of custom plastic profile extrusions for a variety of industries. Although we have numerous standard parts, we specialize in catering to our customer’s unique needs and specific requirements.

History

Founded in 1978 in an 1,800 square foot building, SFR Industries has evolved into a leading custom plastic profile extrusion company while competing on a national scale. Since the beginning, SFR continues to focus on meeting our customer’s needs through listening, followed by providing support and assistance through experience, expertise and innovation.

Key Features of SFR Industries

Located in a modern 66,000 square foot facility in Cadott, Wisconsin, SFR offers over 150 years of management experience, a state of the art EDM tooling center, thirty plus extruders, and in-line value added accessory equipment. This enables us to be viewed as a “turnkey” resource from concept design through manufacturing quality competitively priced product.

SFR provides product to many large and diverse companies, including those within the furniture industry. We provide over 7 million lineal feet of T-Molding annually of various sizes, shapes, colors and finishes to this particular industry. Some of the additional industries we serve include recreational, transportation, electronics, industrial, point of purchase, building products (windows – walls – doors), and distribution.

SFR Offerings

As an industry leader of plastic profile extrusions we provide unique offerings, including: one day lead time via our stock and draw program; no minimum production runs; no tooling charges for standard tubing.

In supporting our customer’s market position we constantly strive to provide Innovative solutions through our material expertise; in house tooling design and manufacturing; and value added services such as co-extrusion (dual & tri durometer), cutting, punching, PSA tapes, hot stamping, laminating, embossing, assembly, packaging, and critical dimension close tolerance extruding.

Robert W. Stumm – President

Robert’s background includes extensive knowledge in the areas of product development, technical service, and sales. With more than 40 years in the plastics and extrusion industry, Robert manages all of the production aspects of SFR Industries, Inc.

James Sullivan – Tooling Manager

After a four-year apprenticeship as a tool room machinist, James spent the next several years building molds for metal stamping / forming, plastic injection molding and profile extrusion. He then joined SFR Industries in 2004 where he specializes in complicated designs. Currently, he leads the tooling development team.
